- 5 / 5By Diane SendeckiMy husband, was very surprised and enjoyed his birthday cake. We purchased a Custom Black Forest Explosion cake; everything was fresh and moist. The cherries were delicious. The chocolate frosting and ganache toppings were to die for! The 6 inch round cake served 5 people for dinner, and we still brought half of the cake home.
I had never been to A Sweet Memory Cake Shoppe before. I passed it, on Rt. 9, many times but never when I needed anything. I found them online and went there for this special cake because they were open after 4:00 pm. I am so happy that I did. The Shoppe is so adorable inside and much larger than it looks outside. It was easy to order my cake over the phone. I had to pick up the cake earlier than I anticipated, so I called, and it was no problem at all. They even gave me candles for the cake for free when I was looking for candles to purchase. The price was reasonable and well worth it.
